Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: This course will provide a very important foundation for healthcare professionals. The purpose of this course is to provide students with a comprehensive overview of the structure and function of the human body.
Course Content: This course includes introduction to anatomy and terminology, bones, joints, muscles, nervous system, endocrine system, circulatory system, respiratory system, digestive system, urinary system and genital system, and sensory organs.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Able to distinguish and define the main structures of the human body
2) Able to discuss the structural arrangement and function of each system of the human body
3) Able to use anatomy knowledge to analyse questions about the function of body parts
4) Able to define the structures in the upper and lower extremities
5) Able to define the organs in the thorax wall and cavity
6) Able to define the parts and functions of the digestive system
7) Able to define genito-urinary system organs
8) Able to define the parts and functions of the central nervous system
9) Able to define the parts and functions of the central nervous system
10) Able to define the structures related to the eye and ear
