Course Objectives: | The main objective of summer practice is for students to observe and attain experience in different workplaces so as to familiarize with the translation environment. Students will have the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge into practice. |
Course Content: | This course consists of minimum 20 working days of traineeship, traineeship folder as well as translator's responsibilities and rights. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Acquire the skills to apply theoretical knowledge into practice 2) Gain field-specific terminological knowledge along with traineeship experience in different fields 3) Acquire knowledge and experience about translation business and translation market 4) Define interdepartmental relations in the company/institution of traineeship 5) Present the information obtained during their traineeship in a report |
