Course Objectives: | General tools used in organic chemistry, reaction systems, separation and purification methods, reaction design, reaction apparatus, reaction setup, aimed to gain information about the product. |
Course Content: | Introduction to organic chemistry, recognition and nomenclature of functional groups, classification, properties, preparation and reactions of organic compounds. |

1) To be able to have knowledge about working rules in organic chemistry laboratory 2) To be able to have knowledge about general tools, systems and processes used in organic chemistry laboratory 3) To be able to have knowledge about the purity of compounds, separation and purification processes 4) To be able to have knowledge about general organic reaction mechanisms 5) To be able to set up a reaction apparatus 6) To be able to establish reactions and obtain products by applying appropriate methods |
