Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: The lifespan of the machines and equipment used is directly proportional to the maintenance techniques and practices. Choosing and applying appropriate maintenance methods according to the purpose and place of use of the machines will help prevent labor, material and monetary losses. Fault finding and troubleshooting methods will be examined, and information will be given about the materials and test devices used in maintenance.
Course Content: Maintenance Concept, Maintenance Management, Planned Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, Total Productive Maintenance, Maintenance Planning Principles, Maintenance Scheduling Principles, Computer Aided Maintenance Management

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Learns the requirements of student care management.
2) The student gains the ability to apply care management techniques.
3) The student gains the ability to use computerized maintenance management systems.
4) The student will be able to analyze a company's maintenance situation in any given situation and decide what type of maintenance to apply.
5) Able to evaluate the economics of student care systems.
