Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: This course aims to provide an understanding of the mechanical principles of biological systems, studying the motion and interactions of complex structures such as the human body.
Students will learn to develop practical applications to enhance sports performance, reduce injury risk and improve rehabilitation processes using the principles of biomechanics.
At the end of the course, students will have a basic understanding of the concepts of biomechanics and the skills to apply this knowledge in health, sports or engineering fields.
Course Content: The course begins with the fundamentals of biomechanics and focuses on the analysis and modeling of human movement. Then, applications of biomechanical principles in the fields of health, sports and engineering are examined. Students consolidate this knowledge through practical projects and applications, while developing their ability to solve real-world problems.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) The ability to analyze human movement using biomechanical principles is developed.
2) Students will be able to apply basic mathematical and physical principles to analyze fluid behavior in biological systems.
3) Gain the ability to transfer the concepts of biomechanics to practical applications in health, sports and engineering fields.
