Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: This course aims to provide students with basic French language skills that will help them to communicate at A2 level according to
the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The course also aims to teach students grammatical structures
and skills that will enable them to communicate in French in social settings.
Course Content: This course consists of vocabulary, grammar and communicative skills at elementary level as well as various themes such as
travel, places, appearance, plans, health, weather, phone conversations and cultural concepts.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Read, understand, talk, compare and express one's own opinion about newspaper texts on emotions, thoughts and exploration
2) Follow texts related to the comparison between languages
3) Express their own opinions
4) Answer the questions of listening texts on current issues
5) Answer questions about the speeches listened to
6) Write letters and emails
7) Share creatively in blogs, forums, internet and newspapers
