Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this class is to learn how to create a basic drawing using 3D drawing software and save it in a project format.
Course Content: • Defining New Part and Material
• Starting a 2D Drawing and Converting It To A 3D Part Using the Extrude Command
• Applications of Extrude and Revolve Commands
• Defining Reference Point, Line and Plane
• Pattern Applications
• Learning Constraint Alternatives
• Defining Different File Types
• Defining Different Parts In a Single Part File Using the New Part Button
• Learning “Sweep”, “Loft”, “Hole”, “Fillet” and “Chamfer” Commands
• Defining New Planes with the “Plane” Command
• Saving Part Files In Project Format
• Preparing 2D Technical Drawing File From a Part File
• Basic Assembly Applications with the “Mate” Command
