Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives:
It aims to provide theoretical and practical information on the legal regulations governing institutions and organizations operating in the Civil Aviation sector.
Course Content: This course covers aviation fundamentals such as the study of aircraft and their components, aerodynamics, basic aircraft systems, airport systems, air traffic control procedures, Federal Aviation Regulations, basic air navigation elements including radio navigation, and review of aviation rules (regulations), etc. . informs about the issues.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) They will be able to evaluate the historical development of Civil Aviation in Turkey before and after the republic.
2) They will be able to define general concepts in the field of Civil Air Transport Management and Turkish civil aviation law.
3) They will be able to define the duties and responsibilities of relevant institutions and their personnel in the field of Civil Air Transport Management (such as DGCA -DHMİ -THK).
4) They will be able to evaluate the risks and opportunities related to the civil aviation field.
5) They will be able to evaluate Civil Aviation Inspections, SANA SAFA SACA and the Definition of Civil Aviation Authorities and International Agreements.
