Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: To give general information about the basic structure, classification, properties, analysis methods and usage areas of polymers.
Course Content: The chemical and physical structures and properties, synthesis methods and mechanical properties of natural and synthetic polymers, plastics and elastomers will be discussed.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Have knowledge about the basic structure of polymers and can classify them.
2) Has knowledge about the properties and usage areas of polymers.
