Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to introduce students to the basic principles of vibrations in mechanical systems, to teach vibration analysis techniques and to develop their ability to use this knowledge in real world applications.
Course Content: This course deals with the basic principles and applications of vibrations in mechanical systems, we will learn how vibrations of mechanical systems occur, how to analyze and how to control them.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Students will be able to understand and explain the basic principles of vibrations in mechanical systems.
2) Students will be able to analyze the vibration characteristics of mechanical systems using different vibration analysis techniques.
3) Students will be able to evaluate vibration control methods and apply them in real world applications.
