Course Objectives: | To introduce students to the concepts and analytical techniques required to solve business problems and create a sustainable advantage in competitive environments, to equip students with strategic thinking ability, knowledge, and skills, and to contribute to their strategic thinking. |
Course Content: | Examining the basic topics of strategic management, strategic decision making, external environment and industry analysis, internal environment analysis, situation analysis and business strategy, corporate and functional strategies, strategy formulation, implementation of strategies, evaluation and control, and management of human resources. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Defines the basic concepts related to strategic management. 2) Learns the process of determining, implementing and evaluating strategic decisions that will enable the business to achieve its goals. 3) Knows competitive strategies. 4) Develops the abilities and skills to make necessary strategic analyses in various industries, competitive environments, and a global environment. 5) Analyzes the opportunities and threats in the environment for the business. |
