2) To learn relationship between nutraceuticals and foods,
3) To learn common herbal and phytochemical products and their therapeutic activities,
4) To learn role of nutraceuticals in health promotion and disease prevention
5) To know the issues associated with the use of nutraceuticals

3) 3. General properties of the major nutraceuticals (Glucosamine, Chondroitin, Methylsulfonylmethane, Coenzyme Q10, Melatonin, Carnitine, Acetyl-L-carnitine)
4) 4. General properties of the major nutraceuticals (S-Adenosyl methionine, Omega 3 Fatty Acids, Lycopene, Grape Seed Proanthocyanidin Extract, Resveratrol, Lutein, zeaxanthin and astaxanthin, Alpha-lipoic acid)
