Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: To give information about the chemical composition and production of cosmetic products.
Course Content: History of cosmetic chemistry, chemical composition of cosmetic products, chemicals used in the production of cosmetic products and their functions, production procedures of frequently used cosmetic products, harmful chemicals found in cosmetic products and their determination methods.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Students will learn classical and instrumental techniques and analysis steps.
2) They will learn the steps of chemical analysis, possible errors, calculations.
