Programme Profile

Istanbul Health and Technology University, Department of Audiology is a four-year undergraduate program in the Faculty of Health Sciences that accepts students with numerical score type.
Audiology is a science that aims to evaluate the hearing and balance system, to prevent and diagnose disorders and to increase the quality of life of the individual with appropriate rehabilitation approaches. Audiologist is a graduate of the department of audiology, which determines the degree of hearing and balance disorder with the help of various tests, informs the patient by working in coordination with the physician, provides the necessary support for the selection, application and follow-up of the appropriate device when the patient needs to use a hearing aid, and contributes to science with his researches by following the technological developments in his field.
75% of the courses in our program are compulsory and 25% are elective courses. Students can choose elective courses within the field and/or outside the field.
