Programme Profile

The first semester of the medical laboratory techniques program starts with basic medical science courses such as anatomy and physiology, and basic science courses such as general chemistry, general biology, medical terminology, as well as theoretical and applied courses that give general information about the profession. With the second semester and the second year, students begin to take courses on professional subjects together with clinical practical courses. During the second year, students go to their compulsory internships in various hospitals and health institutions.
Within the scope of the program, it is among the objectives to train professional staff who have professional ethics competence, follow the scientific and technological developments in the sector, and are conscious of security issues.
