Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: By examining the concepts of women's health and reproductive health, it aims to protect and improve the reproductive health of women and families in all life periods in line with the needs of our country, and to provide knowledge and skills to meet the care needs with a holistic approach in cases of deterioration.
Course Content: Women's Health and Diseases Nursing course examines the basic concepts, theories and principles related to women's health, in line with the needs of the country, to protect and improve the health and well-being of women throughout all life stages, to increase their role in the family and society, to provide care needs with a holistic approach in cases of deterioration of health. teaches the theoretical knowledge and practice necessary for The scope of the course includes topics such as perinatal care, fertility regulation, infertility, sexuality and sexual education, reproductive organ infections, care in gynecology and gynecological oncology diseases.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Have information about women's sexual/reproductive health and diseases according to their life periods.
2) Protection and improvement of women's sexual/reproductive health and treatment and treatment in case of deterioration of health plans nursing care for rehabilitation
