Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: To teach students the concepts of scientific research, to gain skills in accessing scientific knowledge, to gain the ability to evaluate and present scientific knowledge, to teach the requirements for writing projects and articles.
Course Content: Scientific research concepts, types and steps of scientific research, use of databases, concept of scientific ethics, concept of plagiarism, use of citation programs and bibliography, reporting of scientific research results, requirements for writing articles and projects, homework evaluation

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Students have knowledge about the concepts of science and scientific research.
2) Students list the ways in which they can acquire scientific knowledge.
3) Students learn about classifying scientific research
4) Students gain skills in determining the stages of scientific research.
