Course Purpose and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to give ability to analyze, expound and develop solution for problems related to human resources (HR) with the knowledge of historical background, objective, basic functions of HR management concept and HR information systems.
Course Content: The concept and objective of HR management, The historical evolution of HR management, The functions of HR management, Job analysis and job design, Human resource planning, Employee selection and recruitment, Training management systems, Performance management systems, Career planning, Compensation systems, Job evaluation, Health, safety and security, Employee and labor/management relations, HR information systems.

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Students are able to use their knowledge on the evolution and objective of human resources management concept.
2) Students are able to use basic functions of human resources management.
3) Students are able to use their knowledge on the importance of human resources management for organizations.
