Dersin Amacı:

Bu dersin sonunda öğrencilerin İngilizce dilinin temel yapısını hem metinsel hem de iletişimsel düzeyde kavrayabilmeleri amaçlanmaktadır. Bu kavrayış ile kendilerine verilen temel düzeyde İngilizce veriyi analiz edebilecek ve bu veriye doğru biçimde yanıt verebilecek olan öğrencilere hedef dili gerçek yaşam durumlarında kullanabilme becerisinin kazandırılması hedeflenmektedir.

Dersin İçeriği:

Bu ders öğrencilere temel İngilizce dilbilgisi ve becerilerini (okuma, konuşma, dinleme, yazma) kazandıracak biçimde tasarlanmıştır. Ders çeşitli dilbilgisi kuralları ve dil becerilerine yönelik etkinlikler içeren ünitelere bölünmüştür. Her hafta işlenecek ders saatleri tüm etkinliklere odaklanmaktadır. Bu odak noktaları iletişimin farklı yönleri için bir temel oluşturmaktadır.

Öğrenme Kazanımları

Bu dersi başarıyla tamamlayabilen öğrenciler;
1) İngiliz dilinin temel yapısını kavrar.
2) Farklı zamanlarda olumlu, olumsuz ve soru cümleleri oluşturur.
3) İngilizce yeni kelimeler öğrenir.
4) Temel konularda diyaloglar oluşturur.
5) Temel düzeyde okuma, anlama ve yazma becerileri kazanır.
